Visits
Educational visits are a central part of the ethos of Portchester Community School. We believe that external visits can offer a range of opportunities not available within school, and can make a huge impact on both teaching and learning. These visits range from the full week of residential visits undertaken by all students in Year 8 to the Calshot Activities Centre and the Arts visits to New York (last year) and Barcelona (this year), to the regular day-trips to museums, galleries, collaborative meetings with students from other schools and outdoor pursuits (including the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.)
