Ashcroft Schools Festival - Another Portchester Success

A group of Year 10 students from Portchester School took part in the recent Ashcroft Schools Festival and were acclaimed as brilliant performers in this hard-hitting dance-drama.  In it we meet "Jade" who battles with the temptations that life throws at her.
The actors interpret in their own words through physical theatre and dance their own views on the subject of Addiction.  The piece questions why people have addictions, what happens to them and how they cope.
Congratulations are due to Miss Rachel Goodall who teaches drama at the school and has led the whole project from start to finish,  and to all of the students involved, who were Hannah Adams, Brandon Andrews, Harry Baker, Alfie Conway, Luke Davis, Poppy Faithfull, David Greenslade, Kayleigh Hickey, Cameron Jones, Sam Kessack, Michael Liggitt, Sam Moore, Joe Narey, Jade Newman-Farr, Elizabeth Randall, Grace Rolfe, Emma Rowe, Lanesra Verity, Sam Wood.
