TASA Re-launched!
On Friday 11th September 2009, TASA saw it's second launch. No, we haven't got it wrong! It's not NASA but TASA, our Science, Technology and Maths club. Ian Dunne, Scientific magician, put on a fantastic show for years 7 and 8 to inspire them to see the the 'WOW' factors that Science and Technology hold and interest them in joining TASA.
The show brought us funny noise-making machinery, jumping water, jumping pie tins and even making stunt barbie's hair stand on end with static electricity! Current TASA members also got an opportunity to meet with Ian and try out some of the activities he demonstated in the show.
Lots of students have already shown a huge interest in joining the fun-packed activities we have in store but if you haven't joined yet and want to, TASA runs every Thursday 3pm - 4pm in either S3 or T2. For more details see Mrs Beacher, Mr Callar or Miss Callacher.
